I think we can all agree that it is better to give and receive this time of year! In the spirit of giving The Barefoot Dragonfly has asked clients each year we’ve been in business to bring an eligible donation in to the office. In return we give you more of what you love about The Barefoot Dragonfly – time!

This year we have chosen local charity SafePlace who’s mission is “ending sexual and domestic violence through safety, healing, prevention and social change.” When a survivor arrives at SafePlace he/she may only have the clothes on their back. Your generous donation of a toiletry items will be an important first step in helping a survivor get back on their feet.

So here’s the deal:

Give: a toiletry kit to help a survivor get back on their feet!

Receive: a coupon for 30 minutes of Reflexology or Aromatherapy!

Details: Now through December 31st we are accepting toiletry kit donations, in exchange you’ll receive a coupon for 30 minutes of Reflexology or Aromatherapy.
You can use the coupon to upgrade your one hour Reflexology session to a 90 minute Reflexology session, or towards an Aromatherapy Consultation. The more kits you donate, the more coupons you receive!
Limit one coupon per donated kit (minimum 3 toiletry items). Coupons will expire January 31, 2014 and cannot be combined in the same appointment. Want to share with a friend? Bring in two kits and use one coupon for yourself and give the other coupon to a friend so they can experience The Barefoot Dragonfly.

Toiletry items must be new, unopened, and unexpired (who knew lotion had a best buy date!). Keep in mind that this is not a temporary situation for a survivor so full-size products will last them longer than travel-size products.

Kit ideas:

Oral Health – toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash, floss.
Shower Hygiene – shampoo, conditioner, soap, razor.
Body Care – lotion, deodorant, hairbrush, lip balm.
