Infertility, Sub-Fertility
About 1 in 8 American couples are infertile according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The break down is usually:
- 30% male factor
- 30% female factor
- 20% unexplained
- 10% a combination of male and female
Reflexology is growing in popularity as a complementary treatment alongside conventional care. Some of our clients choose to come in for a series of Reflexology sessions prior to starting a medicated or assisted cycle with their fertility doctor or clinic. Others start Reflexology alongside an IVF cycle, an IUI cycle or a clomid challenge.
A thorough medical history intake is done at the very first session and clients keep us in the loop regularly about their conventional treatments and tests.
