Women's Moon Circle

New Moon Circle for Women

In ancient times women in communities would gather together around the bleeding portion of their cycles, at the time of the new moon.

Modern circles are called Red Tent Temples, Moon Lodge gatherings and so forth. The purpose of the gathering is to honor women, reclaim the female sense of community in a small gathering, and to honor the cycles of life.

Come to a New Moon Circle to...
  • Relax
  • Meditate
  • Laugh
  • Share stories and ideas
  • Read a poem
  • Nurture and support
  • Learn
  • Honor yourself

Women's Moon Circles are free of charge. We ask that you consider giving a donation for a selected charity via the karma kan that will be available at each meeting.

Feel welcome to bring a food or drink to share with the group (non-alcoholic of course). You can share your talents too! Reiki, foot rubs, poetry, musical talent, creative craft or hobby, etc...

When women come together to share, laugh, cry and support each other it can be very healing and therapeutic for some. However, this group is not a replacement for therapy, medical advice or treatment.

Circles are non-denominational, we respect and honor the unique religious and cultural backgrounds of the women of the world and ask that you do the same when attending the meetings.

Women of all ages and life stages are welcome to attend the moon circles. You do not need to be on your period or even be of menstruating age to attend. Any woman under the age of 18 should be accompanied by her mother, female relative or guardian to help her process conversations held by adults.
