I am excited to be teaching my Aromatherapy Germ Busters class for the first time in the Austin area! This class aims to present evidence-based information on the safe use of essential oils during the cold and flu season. We will look at using essential oils to prevent cross-infection, support the immune system and lastly for symptom management in the event of contracting the common cold or the flu.

The hands-on component will include:

  •     Identifying essential oils through smell
  •     Crafting your own recipe and
  •     Creating a personal inhaler using the recipe you’ve designed

Who should attend this class?
This class is ideal for the person who is frustrated with the frequent doctor visits and the amount of money spent on over-the-counter cold remedies he/she bought last winter. A mother or guardian with children in the home will also find this class helpful to learn techniques to support a healthy family though germ season, also known as the school year.

About your instructor: Amy Kreydin is a graduate of the R.J. Buckle Associates’ 250 hour clinical aromatherapy program. She is a practicing Reflexologist and Clinical Aromatherapist with a focus on women’s health, pediatrics and pain management.
