Enfleurage is a centuries-old technique used to capture the aroma of fresh flowers. This perfume is delightful and I hope it conjures thoughts of a faraway land of magical sunsets and warm sand between your toes!
Plumeria and night-blooming Jasmine flowers were gently pressed into a vegetarian, odorless fat to capture their odor molecules. This process was refreshed daily for 13 days producing a richly-scented pomade. The pomade was then soaked in ethyl alcohol over 7 weeks to draw the fragrant molecules into the alcohol. The end result is a heady perfume which can be worn directly on the body at pulse points.
